BIOGRAPHY

Dear Visitor,

I have been creating objects using copper wire ever since I was introduced to it in a workshop at a museum in 2010.  Since then I have made many things - ornaments, mobiles, and bookmark faces.  But since the start, kinetic sculptures have been the heart of my work. They continue to fascinate me.  Each one is unique. Each sculpture's form and design emerge in my hands as I make them. I love to see people's faces as they watch the marbles move. My sculptures delight the child in me and I think in others too.  

My artistic home lies at base of mount Sunapee, NH at the Annual League of New Hampshire Craftsmen's Fair among the booths of a brilliant community of artists. I have had the privilege to be a part of the community in the Next Generation Exhibit since I was ten. The many craftspeople in the League who encourage and mentor me as a young artist have made all the difference to me and my ever deepening sense of wonder and joy from my art. 

Originally from Switzerland, I have lived in in New York, Costa Rica and New Hampshire. In the last year I showed my work at exhibitions such as the Memorial Art Gallery Fine Craft Show in Rochester, NY and the Smithsonian Craft Show in Washington, DC, where I won the Artist’s Choice Gold Award. I work in my studio in White River Junction VT, which will hopefully lead to many more swirling, dancing marbles and smiles.
